Future Athletes of Louisiana, Inc. Golf Program Description

Future Athletes of Louisiana, Inc. (FAL) was incorporated with the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office on January 28, 2005.  In order to ensure focused and effective youth development FAL has chosen golf as the primary athletic program.  Although this focus may be expanded as we grow as an organization we feel that golf provides both an individual and team experience which doesn’t necessarily exist in all athletics. 

Golf instruction will be provided at Denham Springs Country Club in Denham Springs, Louisiana .  We will coach and groom golfers at all levels from beginners to advanced skill sets by holding monthly golf clinics at Denham Springs Country Club.  Golf education will be provided by a United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF) Level IV Master Teaching Professional with a proven history of youth instruction.  The teaching professional will assess and develop the skills of all participants and choose a group of three athletes for our FAL Tour Sponsorship Program.  FAL will sponsor these three athletes in competitive golf events (primarily the Arrowhead Junior Golf Tour) in Louisiana and surrounding states.

Ron Menville at Greystone Country Club has graciously agreed to partner with FAL to afford the Tour Sponsorship Program golfers the opportunity to improve their games at a premier golfing facility.  The three athletes selected to participate in the Tour Sponsorship Program will play and practice at Greystone Country Club.  They will have access to the practice facilities and golf course to further develop their skills and learn to manage their games under playing conditions.  The same USGTF teaching professional responsible for the monthly clinics open to all golfers at Denham Springs Country Club will provide further instruction to the golfers in the Tour Sponsorship Program at Greystone Country Club.
